Not far from Vasilychikovo lies an ancient cemetery, next to which once stood the now non-existent village of Frolovo. In this village, there was a church built and consecrated in 1853, which was destroyed in the mid-20th century. The church had three altars: in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and in honor of the holy martyrs Flora and Lavra. The local icon of St. Tatiana, with relics of her remains, was especially venerated.

The residents of the villages of Vasilychikovo, Shubino, and Yakutino organized a fundraising campaign to create and install a memorial cross at the site of the destroyed church in the former village of Frolovo. Two years ago, the area where the church once stood was cleared of trees and debris.

On September 26, 2020, at noon, the archpriest of the Gorokhovets parish district consecrated the memorial cross in the village of Frolovo.
