The village of Uchuevo-Maindan is located in the Pochinkovsky district. According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the rural Nikolskaya church was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1895. However, according to the Information of the State Protection of Cultural Heritage Objects of Nizhny Novgorod Region, order No. 5-OD was canceled on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
