Sometimes the struggle for the priest's right to visit parishioners' homes dragged on and turned into a lengthy story, rather than being limited to a single complaint. Thus, on July 7, 1933, the parishioners of the village of Tashilovo in the Gusev district appealed to the Moscow Central Executive Committee. They complained that in April, the village council had prohibited the priest from visiting homes on Easter, citing a supposedly existing epidemic, although in reality, there was none. When they approached the district executive committee, for some reason, they were not granted permission, but only given a time, resulting in the holiday already having passed, as had happened on Easter.
