The church at the burial site was dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In the patriarchal books of 1628, it is mentioned as "the church of the great wonderworker Nicholas of the Old Burial Site in the Taletsky volost, the estate of the Pokrovsky convent," with a tribute of thirteen rubles, fourteen altyns, and four dengi. In 1653, the same books indicate that the parish consisted of two priest's households, one sexton's, five peasant households, eight landowner households, and 160 peasant households, totaling 185 households. The church had 11 chet of arable land, as well as 5 chet of fallow land and forest. In 1656, the tribute was increased to four rubles and two dengi. In 1710, the books mention the priests: Alexey Stefanov, Andrey Grigoriev with his son Pyotr Andreev, Ivan Stefanov with his brother Boris Stefanov, and sexton Prokopy Ivanov.

In 1791, parishioners built a stone cold church with a bell tower on the site of the wooden church, consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas. In 1894-1895, an altar in honor of the Prophet Elijah was arranged in the church, initiated by priest I. P. Chizhev. He donated over 650 rubles for the iconostasis, and significant donations were also made by church elder Anisim Martynovich Kochetkov and peasant Mikhail Evlampievich Puchinin. A list of other benefactors has been preserved, including merchants, townspeople, clergy, and peasants.

During the Soviet era, the churches at the burial site were closed, the vault of the warm church collapsed, and the fence disappeared. The Nikolskaya church is currently operational and is in satisfactory condition. The Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God is a one-story building elongated in length. The northern altar is included in the overall area through arches. The altar parts and apses are separate for the main church and the altar. The bell tower is asymmetrically located and shifted towards the axis of symmetry. The main entrance to the church is on the western side with a porch. A massive iron door at the western entrance has been preserved. The main volume is ruined, the vaults have collapsed, and the brick walls have weathered significantly. The refectory is also in poor condition, although its vault is still intact. The apses and bell tower have been preserved the best.
