The wooden parish church of St. Nicholas for the Old Believers was opened in the late 1880s on the site of the prayer house of this community. It was located on Glazov Street, between Bolshaya and Malaya Kustarnaya Streets, but was closed in the 1930s and has not survived to this day.

The Belokrinitskaya church, also known as the Austrian church, is the largest Old Believer priestly church, founded in 1846 at the Belokrinitsky Monastery in Austria. It adheres to old rituals, and the sacraments are similar to those of the Russian Orthodox Church. The followers of this church, called "Austrians," mainly lived in Spasskoye and Yelkhovka. In the early days, the Old Believers from Spasskoye gathered in prayer houses arranged in the homes of wealthy residents. In 1900, one of the affluent local entrepreneurs, Pyotr Matyaev, who previously led the Spasskoye Pomor community, joined the Belokrinitsk agreement. In 1903, he began the construction of a stone single-domed prayer house in the name of St. Nicholas on his estate, which was consecrated the following year. This house was popularly referred to as the Austrian church of P.A. Matyaev. The prayer house was closed in 1929 but has survived in a remodeled form on Oktyabrskaya Street. After its closure, it housed a theater and a mill, and now it is an auto service. The last rector was Yakov Karmanov.
