In 1679, a new church was built in the village of Spasskoye in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and pewter church vessels with carvings were provided free of charge from the patriarchal treasury. Currently, there are two stone churches in the village of Spasskoye, built in the 18th century: a warm and a cold one. The warm church was constructed in 1799 with funds from landowner Yazykova, while the cold church was built in 1722 with funds from Mr. Lopukhin. The stone bell tower was erected in 1859.

In the cold church, there is an altar in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In the altar of this church, a small wooden cross bears the inscription: "Sanctified be the altar of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ in the temple of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker under the reign of Her Imperial Majesty Empress Catherine Alexeyevna and under her heir, the pious sovereign Tsarevich and Grand Duke Pavel Petrovich, by the Most Reverend Hieronymus, Bishop of Vladimir and Murom, in the year 1772, on the 6th day of October."

Church documents have been preserved in full: copies of the metric books since 1803 and confession lists since 1828.
