A bright example of 17th-century cult architecture, distinguished by its original facade decor and having played a significant role in the development of the local architectural school. The composition of the church, similar to the temples of the Resurrection Monastery, is now distorted: two tiers of semi-circular kokoshniks that adorned the two-tiered attic above the cornice have been lost, along with five closely spaced domes with kokoshniks at the base of the drums. The southern portal has also been destroyed, and on the western side, instead of a small narthex, there is a massive brick extension.

Currently, the two-light square of the temple is topped with a four-pitched roof. Small chapels, equal in height to the lowered semi-circular apse, are attached to the southeast and southwest corners of the square. The semi-circles of all three altars, separated by low semi-columns, are aligned on one line.

The facades of the temple were surrounded by a profiled plinth, which is now hidden under a cultural layer. The corners of the building are secured with wide smooth pilasters, which also divide the facades of the square into three sections. At the top of the walls runs a profiled cornice with an ornamental frieze reminiscent of beetles, composed of triangular and diamond-shaped depressions with rounded corners. Rectangular windows, the upper ones being higher, are framed with architraves featuring semi-columns that rest on the windowsill and support a plastic three-lobed kokoshnik with a sharp keel. The perspective portals of the temple with a keel-shaped archivolt, outlined by a semi-roll and supported by semi-columns, have been preserved on the western and northern facades. Their composition is repeated in a simplified form on the chapels. The windows of the altar and chapels are adorned with kokoshniks similar to those of the temple, overlapping the pattern of a wide assembled cornice made up of a ribbon of small niches with a pediment top, a three-row saw, rollers, and shelves.

Inside the temple, the original four-bay vault with a light drum in the shell has been replaced with a flat ceiling. The altar apse, connected to the square by three arches, which are now bricked up, is covered with a barrel vault with a conch. The same type of vault is found in the side chapels.
