The current Nicholas church was built in 1830 with funds from parishioners, replacing a wooden structure. The construction was overseen by parish priest Pavel Alexeevich Florinsky. In 1865, the refectory was expanded also with funds from parishioners, with the participation of local priest Ioann Dmitrievich Novoselsky and church elder Pyotr Tikhonov. In 1866, altars dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and the Prophet Elijah were arranged in the new refectory. The stone bell tower housed five bells, the largest of which, weighing 134 poods, was cast in 1844. It bore an inscription stating that the bell was made by the efforts of the parishioners of the village of Skorokhovo of the Nicholas church, with the participation of priest Pavel Alexeevich Florinsky and church elder Vasily Kondratov, as well as with the support of Ekaterina Egorova. During the Soviet era, the church was closed. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the bell tower was blown up, leaving only the southeast corner, while the refectory was completely dismantled.
