The temple dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker was built in 1792. During the revolution, it was closed and looted. In the Soviet era, the building housed a club where dances were held. Some locals still cannot enter the church for prayer, as their conscience torments them and their souls ache. In 1994, the church was returned to the parish of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. Regular services began in 2005, and the altar was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
