According to local historian Irina Naumova, there was a wooden church in the village, built in 1783 in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The "State Lists of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" indicate that there is an architectural monument, the Nicholas Church, in Presnetsovo, dated to the early 20th century. According to Natalia Listvina and Stepan Efimov, the church was constructed in 1902. In 1937, during the persecution of Orthodoxy, the church was looted: the crosses were thrown down, and the building was repurposed as a warehouse. As a result of neglect, the walls began to deteriorate, and the domes collapsed. However, in 1991, with the change of power, the church was returned to the believers, and services resumed. With the efforts of the entire community, funds were raised for restoration, and in 1993, the Nicholas Church was restored.
