The working settlement named after Stepan Razin, located in the Lukoyanovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, is considered relatively young, as its history began in the first decade of the 20th century. There has never been a church in the settlement of Razino, but in 1996, a temple was built in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. It is located on the outskirts of the village, near the cemetery.
