The village of Pereborovo is located on the banks of the Nerl River, 30 versts from Vladimir and 6 versts from Suzdal. It became known in the second half of the 14th century when it belonged to the Suzdal prince Ivan Borisovich. In the early 15th century, Prince Ivan Borisovich transferred Pereborovo to the Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery, founded by his father, Prince Boris Konstantinovich. The document regarding the transfer of the village is mentioned in the monastery's inventory from 1660. In the monastery's income and expenditure books for 1697, it is noted that 19 rubles, 8 altyns, and 3 dengi were collected from the peasants of Pereborovo, paid by Vasilko Pavlov. The village remained under the monastery's ownership until 1764.

The church in Pereborovo existed as early as the beginning of the 15th century, but it is unknown in honor of which saint it was originally consecrated. Currently, there is a church in the village dedicated to Saint and Wonderworker Nicholas. This stone two-story building was constructed with the funds of the parishioners in 1778. At the same time, a stone bell tower and fence were erected. The church has two altars: in the upper cold floor in honor of Saint Nicholas, and in the lower warm floor in honor of the prophet Elijah.

Church documents have been preserved in full: copies of the metric books since 1800, confession lists since 1820, and an inventory of church property compiled in 1835. The church owns 24 desyatinas of hayfield and arable land, as well as 9 desyatinas of land across the Nerl River, which is indicated in the general plan with the peasants. According to the clergy's staff, there is a priest and a psalmist who receive an annual income of 565 rubles from the land and church services. The clergy's houses are located on church land. The parish includes the village and the villages of Bobarino and Drovniki, totaling 181 households, 508 men, and 512 women. Since 1883, a church-parish school has been operating in the village.
