The village of Novosimbirka is the center of a modern municipal formation in the Kuandyk district of the Orenburg region. It was founded by settlers from central Russia in 1894 and is considered one of the most remote in the area. In 1904, a church was built here in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker with funds from local residents, but in April 1931 it was closed, services ceased, the building lost its domes, and was repurposed as a club.

Many years later, in March 2015, a site for a new church was designated at the entrance to the village, where an Orthodox cross was erected. On June 1, 2015, the first stone for the construction of the new church was laid and consecrated in Novosimbirka. The initiators of the construction were siblings Oleg Nikolaevich and Olga Nikolaevna Puchkov, who had recently moved to the village, the homeland of their parents, and established an agricultural firm here. They allocated funds for the construction of the church. Entrepreneur O.V. Kopylov assisted with the foundation laying by providing workers, equipment, and materials. A log cabin made of quality wood from the Perm region was constructed by a specialized team. By August 2015, the domes were installed on the church in a solemn ceremony.

On June 18, 2016, on the day of the Trinity parental Saturday, Bishop Irinei of Orsk and Gai performed the great consecration of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Novosimbirka, Kuandyk district, Orenburg region.
