In the village of Nizhny Veraya in the Vyksa district, restoration work is underway on the church dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, as well as its bell tower. The restoration of this ancient church began on May 9, 2005. The completion of the interior finishing work is planned for September 15. The church was built in 1890 by decision of the village assembly. In 1937, it was closed, and a cafeteria was established in the building.
