On June 1, 2013, in the village of Murzitsy, Kulebaksky District, Bishop Varvara of Vyksa and Pavlovsk conducted the ceremony of laying the foundation for a new church dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. He was assisted by the dean of the Kulebaksky district, Priest Dmitry Ivin, along with the clergy of the Kulebaksky deanery.
