The stone building of the Orthodox church, preserved to this day, was erected in 1843 thanks to the efforts of parishioners who began construction in 1838. The altar of the church was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The clergy included a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist, for whom church and community houses were provided. In 1887, the interior of the church was adorned with paintings. During the Soviet era, the church lost its bell tower but avoided destruction and is now in a state of abandonment.
