The stone church with one dome, connected to the bell tower, was built in 1833 by Prince Ivan Yurievich Urusov. The church has two altars: one for St. Nicholas and another for St. John the Much-Suffering, the wonderworker of Pechersk. Another church, made of wood, was erected in 1670. The churches own 36 desyatins of land, and the parish includes five settlements.
Since 1866, a school has been operating here, opened with funds from Mr. Bless, located in a specially built building for this purpose.
