Kudley, a village in the Ardatov district, is known as the birthplace of Anastasia Semyonovna Logacheva, a spiritual figure from Kurikha and the head of the Nikolayevsky Uvalinsky Women's Monastery.
The village is home to a monument of urban planning and architecture, the Nicholas Church. The main altar in the church is cold, dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, while the warm chapels are dedicated to the martyr Agatha and the icon of the Mother of God "Quick to Hear."
The church dates back to 1806.
