The construction of the church in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker began in 1813 with funds raised by the parishioners. The church was opened in 1823. It was closed in 1937. Restoration work began in 1992, and on January 7, 1994, a Divine Liturgy was held in the renovated church.
