Фото 1
The address-calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese for 1888 indicates that there are two churches in the village of Krapivino. One of them, dedicated to the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, was built in 1854 and has two altars. The second church, consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, was built in 1864 and is a single-altar church.

According to the inventory of church property from 1926, compiled by the Purekh volost rural council, both churches are also listed in the village of Krapivino. The cold church has two altars: the first in honor of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the second in honor of St. Paraskeva Friday. The warm church with a bell tower has an altar dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
