The stone Nicholas Dunilovo church, combined with a bell tower and having two altars, was built in 1865 next to the wooden Kazan church. In 1867, the altar in honor of St. Nicholas of Myra was consecrated in the warm church, and in 1874, the altar of the icon of the Mother of God "Kazan" was consecrated in the cold chapel.

In 1916, the Dunilovo church, which was part of the Vologda diocese, was independent. Its parish included the settlements of the Nikolsky district: the village of Dunilovo, located by the church, the village of Dunilovo across the river, the village south of the former desert on the right bank of the Andanga river and along the Parzhenets river, the village of Avdievo Pole, the settlements of Novopokrovsky First and Second, the villages of Parzhenets and Ramenye, as well as the settlement of Tarasovsky. The priest was Vladimir Alexandrovich Sumarokov, who was arrested in 1918 for anti-Soviet agitation and sentenced to a year of hard labor.

In 1991, the stone Nicholas church was handed over to the parishioners, and now services are held there according to a schedule.
