The stone church with five domes, connected to the bell tower, was built in this village in 1815 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. It has two altars: one for St. Nicholas and another for the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple. Until 1814, there was a wooden church here, which was abolished that same year, and a stone pillar was erected in its place.

Although there are no miraculous icons in this church, the icon of the Sorrowful Mother of God has received special veneration. However, the exact time when it began to be honored is unknown.

The church lacks ancient utensils, vestments, old printed books, and manuscripts. The exception is the church consecration cross, which indicates that the church was consecrated by Archbishop Anthony in 1816.
