The order of the Department of Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD "On the Inclusion of Religious Objects in the List of Historical and Cultural Heritage Objects" included rural churches in the list of historical and cultural heritage objects. Among them was the Nicholas Church, built in 1889, with altars: the main one dedicated to Nicholas the Wonderworker and a chapel dedicated to the martyr Paraskeva. The "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" for 1904 mentions the Assumption Church, which belongs to the Old Believers and was built in the early 20th century. However, according to the data from the State Protection Office of Cultural Heritage Objects of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, order 5-OD was revoked on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
