According to descriptions by N. Bazhenov in "Statistical Descriptions of Cathedrals, Monasteries, Parish and House Churches of the Simbirsk Diocese", there is a wooden church in the village of Beliy Klyuch, built by parishioners in 1779 and reconstructed in 1860. The altar of the church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The church has 1 desyatina of estate land and 66 desyatinas of arable and haymaking land. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist. There is a public house for the priest and an apartment for the psalmist at the school. The village of Beliy Klyuch has 176 households with 579 men and 591 women. The parish school, opened in 1885, is located in its own building. The distance to Simbirsk is 109 versts, to Karsun is 13 versts, and the same distance to the Karsun volost administration. The postal address is Karsun city.

The historical and cultural monument is a one-story brick building of rectangular shape with a gable roof. The main facade faces south and is designed in an eclectic style. The corners of the building are adorned with decorative pilasters featuring square niches at the upper and lower parts. Arched windows are framed with profiled trim resting on a window sill. A small projecting cornice runs around the entire perimeter of the building, supported by decorative brackets. The decor of the side facades is similar to that of the main one. On the north side, there is a single-story wooden annex with a shed roof.

Currently, the building is used as a library.

The Committee of the Ulyanovsk Region for Cultural Heritage is conducting a state historical and cultural examination to decide on the inclusion of this site in the register of historical and cultural monuments. The Committee has also sent a request to the state archive to search for historical and archival materials about the parish school.
