The Church of St. Nicholas in correctional colony No. 10 in Mendeleevsk was built in 2007 thanks to the efforts of the colony's administration and the work of inmates, who also handled the interior decoration and made the church utensils. The priests of the parish take care of the church. Visits are possible every Friday when prayers, memorial services, and baptisms are held. Special attention is given to educational discussions. Four to five times a year, the Divine Liturgy is held in the church with the participation of singers from the Epiphany Church in the city of Mendeleevsk.
