In 1833, a church was built in the village of Rybkino with funds from the peasants in honor of Archangel Michael. Weddings, baptisms, and funerals of local residents were held here. During the Soviet era, the church was destroyed. In the summer of 2003, the foundation of the old church in the shape of a cross was discovered, and in October of the same year, the first stone for new construction was laid. Under the guidance of the governor of the Orenburg region, A.A. Chernyshev, the Church of Archangel Michael was restored at its original location in the center of the village. On Saturday, December 24, 2005, Metropolitan Valentin of Orenburg and Buzuluk consecrated the bells. Later, on March 28, 2006, a cross was installed on the church, which became a significant event for the entire district. Many parishioners watched the installation of the dome and cross, and now the church rises 22 meters high, with its golden dome visible from afar. The construction progressed quickly, and on June 3, 2006, the church was consecrated. The ceremony, conducted by Metropolitan Valentin, was attended by many generations of Rybkino residents. That day, the first service was held in the church. The restoration of the church became a community effort: many people participated in the construction, and locals, learning about the church's revival, sent donations. In April 2007, the church was visited by the Metropolitan of Kaliningrad, now Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill.
