In the 19th century, there was a wooden church in Novobelokatay. At the beginning of the 20th century, a brick temple began to be built on this site, but it could not be completed due to the revolution. The unfinished building in the center of the village changed owners multiple times, and each time it ended in fire. First, it was occupied by the communists, but the district committee burned down, then the building was handed over to a club, which met the same fate. After that, a local library was placed there, but it also did not escape the fire. Notably, the fire in the club occurred during a disco. The building could have been demolished, but thanks to the change in power, the Church managed to preserve it. Local authorities long did not recognize the rights of the Ufa diocese to this property, but thanks to the efforts of Father Moisei Turukhin and Bishop Nikon, who appealed to the republic's leadership, justice was restored. With the help of episcopal support and prayers, the temple began to take shape. Much has been done in recent years thanks to the priest Father Moisei. In the village, far from large cities, a tall brick church has grown. Many people provided assistance, including the director of the local agricultural chemistry Leonid Ivanovich Vlasov and the director of 'Mezhkhozleshoz' Sergey Petrovich Smorodin. When it came time to install the bells and dome, the director of Zlatoust's 'Vostokmetallurgmontazh' Mikhail Mikhailovich Massalskiy came to help again. Significant support for the construction is provided by the general director of Ufa's 'Gazservice', local district deputy Nikolai Ivanovich Kryukov, who helped acquire an apartment for the priest. Dmitriy Starikov and Vladimir helped purchase an oak altar and sacrificial table, as well as a chandelier. The ringing of Kamensk-Uralsky bells is already spreading throughout Novobelokatay.

While the walls of the future temple are being erected, services are held in a prayer house located in the crumbling building of a kindergarten. It is encouraging that among the parishioners of the current rector, priest Oleg Nesterov, there are many children. Father Oleg visits schools, conducts conversations with teachers, children, and their parents. The parish in Novobelokatay took an active stance when sectarians appeared in the village. An appeal to the local newspaper requesting to publish an article about the essence of these 'soul catchers' went unanswered. It was then decided to print a thousand leaflets with an appeal 'To the Believing Person', which directly indicated who supports the sectarians and with whom they cooperate. Schoolchildren distributed the leaflets throughout the village, and every household received the rector's appeal from the local Orthodox parish. The resonance was significant, some were offended, but the sectarians reduced their activity. Father Oleg also cares for the residents of the neighboring village of Leuza, where an old, yet to be restored Trinity church stands. Many residents need baptism and want to take communion; for them, Father Oleg is a dear and welcome guest. A few years ago, a group of tourists from Novobelokatay installed an Orthodox cross on the highest mountain in the Akkashke district.
