The church of the archistrateg Michael was built in 1757 thanks to the efforts of landowner Andrei Grigorievich Poluehtov. This stone building is notable for its durability and has three altars: the main one dedicated to the archistrateg Michael in the cold part, and two in the warm areas, the southern in the name of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker and the northern in honor of Saint Martyr John the Warrior.

The church land occupies about 34 desyatins. On the territory, there is a house for the priest and a house for the psalmist. The inviolable church capital amounts to 807 rubles and 62 kopecks. The parish has 278 men and 361 women. The village is located by a small river, Lukiny. There is a church school operating in the parish. The clergy staff includes a priest and a psalmist, who receive a state salary of 392 rubles, while the parish capital amounts to 3790 rubles.
