On November 10, 2016, a ceremony was held in the village of Khabarskoye, Bogorodsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region, to consecrate a church dedicated to Archangel Michael and other Heavenly Powers. The Rite of Great Consecration was led by Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas.

The wooden church with a single altar in Khabarskoye was laid in November 2013. The laying ceremony was conducted by the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese. By October 2015, the dome and crosses were installed. The church is designed for 100 people, and there was previously no church in the village.
