The village of Gore-Gryaz is located by the ponds, 26 versts from Yaroslavl. The village has 38 households, with 110 men and 121 women living there. The stone church was founded in 1809 and has three altars: Archangel Michael, the Georgian Holy Virgin, and All Saints.
The parish has 42 desyatinas of land. It includes three settlements: Gore-Gryaz, Popovka, and Kondratovo. In total, the parish has 59 houses, where 205 men and 227 women reside.
