Chuvarleika, a village in the Ardatov district, known as Chuvarleiki. According to the "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" from 1904, a wooden church was built here in 1852. The church had altars: the main, cold altar of Archangel Michael, and a warm chapel of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To this day, only the altar apse and part of the church wall have survived.
