The wooden Church of Archangel Michael was built in Bolshaya Kamenka in 1776. It had a bell tower and a clergy house. In 1917, the church was closed, and the building was converted into a club. In 1972, it burned down, and for a long time, the site remained vacant.
Construction of a new wooden church in the village began in 2005. By the end of 2007, the church in Bolshaya Kamenka received its domes and bell tower with bells. It was consecrated in honor of Archangel Michael. The first service in the new church took place in 2009.
