The village of Bibirevo is located on the Trubezh River, 110 versts from Vladimir and 8 versts from Pereslavl-Zalessky. In 1581, Tsar Ivan Vasilyevich the Terrible transferred Bibirevo to the Pereslavl Danilov Monastery. According to the monastery's estate description from 1610, the village was devastated by the Lithuanians. This description also mentions a church in honor of Archangel Michael, the monastery courtyard, the priests' courtyard, and 10 peasant households. The land books from 1629-1630 also list a wooden church, priest Elizar, and 7 peasant households.

In 1678, a new wooden church was built in honor of Archangel Michael, which stood until 1816. Since 1764, Bibirevo became a state village. In 1816, a stone church with a bell tower was built at the expense of the parishioners. The church has two altars: in the cold room in honor of Archangel Michael and in the warm chapel in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God. The church is well supplied with utensils, vestments, holy icons, and liturgical books. All church documents, including copies of metric books and confession lists since 1783, are kept in order.

According to the staff, there is a priest and a psalmist at the church. Their maintenance is ensured by arable and haymaking land, grain collections from parishioners, interest capital, and services, amounting to up to 330 rubles per year. The priest has a church house, and the psalmist has his own. The parish includes the village and the village of Gromozdovo, where the clerical records list 192 men and 228 women. Since 1891, a literacy school has been operating in Bibirevo.

In 1816, at the expense of the parishioners, the current stone church with a bell tower was built. It has two altars: in the cold room in honor of Archangel Michael and in the warm chapel in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God.
