The building of the rural club, whose architectural features immediately indicate its past as a church, is one of the few remaining monuments of wooden Orthodox architecture in the Saratov region. The Archangel Michael Church, built in 1865 with funds from parishioners, was closed during the Soviet era and repurposed as a grain storage facility. The bell tower, which stood on pillars, was demolished, and a roof was installed in place of the dismantled dome. Nevertheless, the altar part and chapels were not altered, which allowed for the partial preservation of the building's original appearance.
