The wooden church, built in 1719 and later reconstructed, was clad in board and served as a summer temple for the parish. The building had a cross-shaped form with a basement and was topped with a large octagon above the central part. The side one-domed extensions housed the Ilyinsky and Petropavlovsky chapels, while an open gallery surrounded it from the west. The church was destroyed in the mid-20th century.
