The Church of Righteous Lazarus, also known as Lazarus Church, is located at Ostashinsky Cemetery in the Dzerzhinsky District of Yaroslavl. This cemetery was established in the late 20th century, and the territory of the former village became part of Yaroslavl in 1944. The idea of building the Church of Lazarus the Four-Days arose in 1945, but the church was constructed only in 2007-2008 thanks to the efforts of N.I. Smirnov.

The architecture of the building is simple: it features a green tented roof with eight slopes. Nearby stands a low bell tower with a four-sloped roof of the same color. The Church of Lazarus reflects modern architecture. The main building consists of two floors, and at the top is a small dome with a silvered cross. The interior decoration of the church is quite modest, and its frescoes are created by contemporary Yaroslavl artists.
