The Cosmas and Damian Church in the village of Pinerovka, built in 1873 with funds from parishioners, was wooden and sturdy. In 1892, it was plastered with alabaster over felt and shingles, making it warm, with four stoves. A brick fence around the church was erected in 1885. In addition to the main altar, there was a side altar in honor of Saint Barbara, established in 1884 and consecrated on May 30, 1885.

Besides a wooden lodge with an iron roof, there were no other buildings at the church. The church parish administration began its work in 1882, and a literacy school was opened on November 15, 1886. The church had 80 desyatins of arable land and 8 desyatins of hayfields.

During the Soviet era, the wooden temple was lost. However, on July 12, 2001, Archpriest Boris Lanchikov, the dean of the Western district, consecrated a new church established in a converted building. On November 9 of the same year, the Cosmas and Damian parish in Pinerovka was officially registered. The rector of the church is Priest Dmitry Alkhov.
