Next to Uglovsky is the large village of Kozmodemyansk. In 1816, a stone church was built here with the funds of the parishioners, known as "Kozmodemyanskaya," along with a bell tower. A stone fence surrounds the church cemetery. The temple has three altars: in honor of the holy unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian, the Sign of the Most Holy Theotokos, and Saint Tikhon, the Miracle Worker of Lukha. Currently, this church is in a state of neglect.
