The stone church was built in 1865 on the site of a previous wooden temple. On Holy Saturday, a fire occurred in the village, destroying many houses, including the church. The construction of the stone church took three years.

The temple had three altars: in honor of the Kazan Mother of God, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and St. Alexius the Man of God. The walls and ceiling were adorned with paintings. In the altar on the blue wall, a large angel was depicted, and the entire church sparkled with gold. It housed a large icon of the Kazan Mother of God, made of colored glass, which was considered miraculous.

In 1937, the church was closed, and the priest was sent to Siberia. Icons were taken to the Kudma River and burned, and church books were also destroyed. For some time, the building was used as a storage for grain and fertilizers. When the warehouses were closed, local residents began to dismantle the floor and ceiling.

In 1991, the restoration of the church began. The altar and iconostasis were rebuilt, the walls were plastered and painted, the floors were tiled, and the ceilings are supported by tall columns. In 2011, the church was restored externally, with the walls plastered and whitewashed.
