The stone church with a bell tower, dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, was built in the village of Vasilyevka in 1835 with funds from landowner Vasily Nikolaevich Satin. The Kazan parish of Vasilyevka also included the villages of Maryevka, Mamontovo, Gr-Dvoriki, Petrovskoye, and Pavlovka.

The architectural composition of the church is designed in a cross-shaped plan and includes a square base that supports a light rotunda with a high helmet-shaped dome and a small cupola. On the western side, the church is adjoined by a refectory and a three-tiered bell tower with a tall spire. The building is adorned on three sides with four-column porticos featuring triangular pediments, which gives this provincial structure a special grandeur. In the 1930s, the church was closed, but in 1993 it was returned to the faithful, and restoration work began.

Currently, the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God is operational, and services are held regularly.
