The parish of the village of Zyatsinskoye was founded by the Kazan office of newly baptized affairs during the reign of Catherine II around 1751. At that time, the first wooden church with a hexagonal altar was built. The cold church was consecrated in honor of the Nativity of Christ on December 12, 1762, and the warm one, in honor of Archangel Michael, on December 26, 1785. In 1791, the village transitioned from the Kazan diocese to the Vyatka diocese, and in 1826, by the decree of the Vyatka spiritual consistory dated December 17, 1821, the parish was closed, and the church became a dependency of the new parish of the village of Uzi.

In 1863, the parish was restored. Services were held in the renovated old wooden church, where a Holy Antimension was installed in the warm chapel in honor of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple.

On September 26, 1863, the construction of a new wooden church began, completed in 1864. It was consecrated on October 3, 1865, in honor of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple. In 1866, the old Nativity church was moved to the cemetery and converted into a chapel.

In the same 1866, a church-parish school opened in the village. In 1868, a church-parish guardianship was organized at the church.

On June 15, 1873, the Vvedenskaya church burned down. After the fire, the church, moved to the cemetery, was repaired and consecrated on July 16, 1873, where services were held until the completion of the stone church.

By the decree of the Vyatka spiritual consistory dated January 31, 1874, permission was granted to build a stone church. The church was built with funds from the Elabuga merchant F.G. Chernykh and parishioners. On September 28, 1878, the right chapel was consecrated in honor of Saints Athanasius and Cyril of Alexandria, and the church became known as the Athanasius-Cyril church. On November 11, 1893, the main chapel was consecrated in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, and the church received the name Kazan-Bogoroditskaya. On November 14, 1895, the left chapel was consecrated in honor of Saint Great Martyr Paraskeva.

In 1875, the parish included the village of Zyatsinskoye and several settlements and villages, such as Dubrovskiy, Shudeg, Korovai, and others.

The Kazan-Bogoroditskaya church was closed by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the TASSR dated August 10, 1938, and the building was repurposed as a club.
