Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in Speshnevo

Фото 1
The brick church, built in the Russian-Byzantine style and resembling typical designs, was erected in 1860. It is a two-light single-domed square with a refectory and a tent-shaped bell tower. The church has altars dedicated to Archangel Michael and St. Nicholas. In the late 1930s, the temple was closed and used as a warehouse, and by the 1990s, it had become abandoned. Restoration work began in 2007.
