The Kazan Mother of God Church was built in 1902 with funds raised through voluntary donations and was consecrated on October 22 of the same year. The parish was officially opened on February 18, 1904, by the decree of the Holy Synod.

The parish had two single-class church schools located in private apartments. In the 1904-1905 school year, 67 boys and 65 girls were educated in these schools. A building for the church school was constructed in 1909, as indicated in the clerical records.

On December 25, 1904, a sobriety committee was established in the parish.

The church had a library, and clerical records and reports were submitted until 1916.

Documents from the period of 1916 to 1946 have not survived. It is known that in 1937, Father Simeon Ostapenko was arrested and executed.

For several years, the church did not function, and according to the memories of locals, grain was stored there for some time.

In 1946, the Kazan Church was reopened and consecrated by Bishop Manuel Lemeshevsky. Parishioners remember Father Stefan Katykhin, Father Peter Zhivaykin, and Father Alexei Podkoryrov, who is buried behind the altar of the church.
