The Kazan Church in the village of Shadrino was built of stone, along with its bell tower, in 1822. The construction was carried out by the efforts of Priest Feodor Dmitriev and the church benefactor, peasant Spiridon Filippov from the village of Shmakov, with the support of voluntary donors. The fence around the church is wooden, erected with the funds of the parishioners. The cemetery is located near the church and is also surrounded by a wooden fence. The church has three altars dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, and Saint John Chrysostom.
