The church in the village of Rozhalovo was founded in 1803 and has three altars: the Kazan Mother of God, Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, and Saint John the Theologian. The church lands cover 117 desyatins. There are 250 houses in 21 villages, where 1,093 men and 1,284 women reside.

In 1898, a parish school was opened in Rozhalovo, as evidenced by the first entry in the inventory book. The school was established by the clergy of the Kazan church, built in 1803. In this school, students received primary education, which included 4 grades.
