By the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the rural Kazan Church was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1820. However, according to information from the State Heritage Protection Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the action of order 5-OD was terminated on October 20, 2014, by order No. 159.
