The parish was founded in 1851 in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, and a wooden church was built at that time, which was destroyed in the 1930s. In 1995, the parish was restored. Since 2001, by the decree of the archbishop, Father Vladimir Babak has been appointed as the rector. Services are held in a prayer house that was previously the office of Raipo. In 2006, the construction of a new church began, and the first stone was laid.
