Kuzminka is a village located in the Seryazhskiy district. According to the order of the Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage Protection of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the village church, built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, was recognized as a historical and cultural heritage site. However, according to the data from the State Cultural Heritage Protection Authority of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, this order was rendered invalid on October 20, 2014, as a result of the issuance of order No. 159. According to project information, the church in Kuzminka was erected in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and is dated to the year 1872.
