The village of Kurdyuki, also known as Kupriyanov, was founded by serf peasants of landowner Darya Ivanovna Agolina and is first mentioned in the documents of the 1811 revision tale. In 1793, a church was built in this village, which lasted until 1871. In 1896-1897, a new wooden church was erected in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, funded by residents who collected one ruble each for five years, with chapels dedicated to John the Theologian and Nicholas the Wonderworker. In the 1930s, the church was closed, but it was reopened for believers in 1946.
