The single-domed stone church with a two-story bell tower has two altars: in honor of the Kazan Most Holy Theotokos and Saint Nicholas. It was built in 1845 with funds from the owner A. M. Bulatov and his wife Maria Andreyevna, née Princess Golitsyna. The church is located on the site where the estate of the former owners Leshukovs and Princes Golitsyn once stood. Across the road from the church is a cemetery where, until 1828, two wooden churches built by the Leshukovs stood. These churches burned down that year during the Easter vigil, along with the estate and the entire village.

Under the vaults of the current stone church rests its creator A. M. Bulatov, and nearby are buried the Princes Golitsyn, Krapotkin, the nobles Khitrovo, and the former owners of the village Leshukovy.

The Krasnoarmeysk church owns 37 desyatinas of land and serves two villages. The only procession takes place on July 14 around the village and in the village of Savino in memory of the end of cholera in 1853.
